SMALL VS. TALL
A fun format for the whole family! Showcasing children’s extraordinary talents and abilities, SMALL VS. TALL lets young contestants challenge some of the best athletes, celebrities and professionals in their fields. More than five million viewers on average make this show one of the most popular formats on German television.
In SMALL VS. TALL talented children between the ages of 5 and 13 with exceptional skills compete against prominent adults and professionals and duel in a wide variety of disciplines, whether in sports, knowledge or other fields.
The children can show what they are made of and after their duel one of their greatest wishes is fulfilled – regardless of whether they have won or lost their duel.
In each program there are 10 duels and the prominent studio guests bet on the outcome of the duels during the program and can thus win 30,000 euros for a good cause.
The show has been running on ARD since 2011 and recently achieved market shares of around 20%. With an average of 5.5 million viewers per show, SMALL VS. TALL is one of the most successful Saturday evening shows on German television. The show can also be seen in Austria on ORF and in Switzerland on SRF.
