Team the awesome Arnold Schwarzenegger as a relentless and unstoppable Russian cop sent to the United States and comic actor Jim Belushi as his Chicago counterpart who ignores the rule-book when he’s not rewriting it, set them both on the trail of a Russian drug dealer who’s made the chase very personal and you have a classic of 1980s action-cinema.

When feet, fists, bullets and even buses aren't flying, the wisecracks, quips and throwaway lines are! In fact, there are so many bits of choice dialogue to rehearse later in front of the bathroom mirror you're spoilt for choice!

Once again, action-man Walter Hill delivers the goods, keeping his characters centre frame, making them an integral part of the mayhem as both the special effects and dialogue drive the narrative to its spectacular, stunt-filled climax. RED HEAT boasts a tight script and the genuine on-screen chemistry between Schwarzenegger and Belushi coupled with this practised director's assured hand results in a mismatched-buddy film that leads the pack.

The exterior scenes in Moscow's beautiful Red Square mark the very first time in cinema history that a Hollywood film was granted permission to film at the very heart of the former Soviet Union. At the same time RED HEAT allows Arnold to create another unforgettable character, super detective Ivan Danko. It all adds up to one sizzling film!
